Marcello participated in vintage races in Italy, achieving impressive results with his 1973 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior.

Fast-forward to 2013, he returned to the USA and began a new chapter while keeping his racing dreams alive.

During the 2014 MCSCC season, he secured his first GT4 class championship with four wins.

In 2024, Marcello returned to racing in a 1991 Mazda Miata, competing in the Midwestern Sports Car Club ITA championship series.

Last year, he earned several pole positions in the rain, culminating in a stunning drive leading to a first-place victory in his class and overall at Gingerman Raceway.

He concluded the year by obtaining his SCCA full competition license, following another impressive drive in ITA and Spec Miata to kick off the 2025 SCCA season.
